La Nouvelle Star n'a pas entamé pour deux sous la belle amitié que partage Pierre avec son meilleur ami depuis vingt ans. Ce week-end, Pierre avait l'honneur d'être le témoin de son mariage en région parisienne. « Nous nous sommes connus au collège et on ne s'est jamais perdu de vue, et le fait qu'il me demande d'être son témoin m'a fait chaud au cœur. J'ai pu prendre le temps de me rendre à la mairie et d'assister à ce moment magnifique. » Pierre, qui maîtrise le port du costume-cravate avec plus de classe que jamais depuis ses mythiques prestations sur la scène de Baltard, a néanmoins dû quitter le mariage de son ami peu après l'officialisation prononcée par le maire, pour rattraper ses camarades partis en week-end à Londres. « Ca m'a fait une belle parenthèse dans l'aventure, et c'était aussi émouvant que d'être à Baltard ! » s'étonne-t-il. C'est aussi ce qu'on appelle filer à l'anglaise.

"Ce prime m'a fait un peu peur car les chansons étaient sollicitées par les internautes, du coup je ne voulais pas les décevoir. Il y a avait bien-sûr le stress dû à l'élimination, car l'étau se resserre et je pouvais très bien partir à l'issue de ce prime. J'avais énormément répété « Grace Kelly » de Mika avec Sarah Sanders notre coach, ce qui m'a permis de prendre énormément de plaisir sur scène. Je suis content de ma prestation, d'où ma déception après les commentaires de Marianne : elle a dit que je ne pouvais pas faire les notes aiguës, mais c'était en fait un choix personnel d'interprétation – du reste elle n'a parlé que de ça et n'a pas parlé du reste de la prestation. J'ai donc trouvé ça assez réducteur comme appréciation. Sur « Unforgettable », j'ai réussi à ne pas mourir de rire avec Raphaëlle, car aux répets on piquait des crises de rire car on en faisait trop, c'était super burlesque. Or pour le direct, nous avons fait quelque chose de plus subtil, donc pas de fous rires et c'est tant mieux. J'ai eu encore très peur aux éliminations, à présent j'ai rempli mon pari personnel d'arriver dans les cinq derniers. Après ce prime, ça sera du bonus, mais mon objectif est rempli donc je suis très heureux."
